Christians React to 20 Arguments Against God

It’s been a long time since I wrote anything here on Theology Review. There are reasons for that in all honesty. You can read more on that on my personal website … content warning, it’s a raw post. However, I’m trying to get back into writing on a regular basis, so I’m starting with a short but simple post. This is Christians React to 20 Arguments Against God.

Atheism is becoming increasingly more popular in the western world today. Sometimes seen as the cool thing within colleges and universities, the likes of Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, and Christopher Hitchens have popularised the antagonistic approach to “debunking” Christianity.

With that come many supposed arguments against the existence of God. Often times though these supposed arguments of defeat are actually nothing more than mere opinion hidden in language that has the ability to easily convince many without ever backing itself up.

Because of this epidemic, Christian apologetics has seen somewhat of a resurgence in popularity with the likes of Frank Turek, Bobby Conway, and J. Warner Wallace all becoming popular voices that argue against these objections and provide credible cases for the existence of God and the legitimacy of Christianity as a whole.

Across the month of March, Cameron Bertuzzi (Capturing Christianity), Mike Winger (Bible Thinker) and John McCray (Whaddo You Meme) came together to provide 20 short videos that contest a popular video by the former The Friendly Atheist (now The Atheist Voice). This series covers arguments against God not healing amputees, God allowing paediatric cancer and much more.

I’ve put both the original video from The Atheist Voice and the playlist from Bertuzzi, Winger and McCray below. Why not give it a watch and see what you think. I’d be very interested to hear your thoughts.
